Since all of the interface options being removed are still accessible by in-game commands, you can still use them. I don't exactly know how taking away customization options and telling the playerbase to download addons for them makes any sense, but whatever. Blizzard's taking the liberty of removing a lot, and I mean a LOT of extremely useful interface options to make the Interface window a lot less frightening for new players, or something. So not a lot of players are aware, but class abilities are not the only thing getting pruned from the game.
